The Bristol Palestine Film Festival (BPFF) offers a rich programme of Palestine related cinema, arts and culture to audiences in the South West.

As we celebrate our 10th anniversary in 2020, BPFF is presenting a great collection of short films as part of the Encounters Film Festival under the theme Shades of Protest, which takes place between 18 September to 11 October. Watch online at: www.encounters.film

Bristol Palestine Film Festival takes place annually at Watershed and other venues in early December. The 2020 festival will include a reduced programme of dramas and documentaries but will still feature the thought-provoking work of both emerging filmmakers and established artists.

In the years not affected by pandemics, BPFF‘s wide ranging programme also features filmmakers and commentators from across the  globe who add contextual depth to the films through panel discussions  and Q&As.

Palestine has a thriving film industry and the festival provides a platform  to showcase this talent as well as providing a voice to the people that live there.
