Afrobeats Fridays is a brand inspired by the new wave music genre taking over the UK night life in London and other major cities including Bristol. We aim to provide party goers, Afrobeats and World Music Lovers with the best DJs within Bristol and Outside Bristol Spinning the latest and hottest Urban and Afrobeats tunes from ALL parts of Africa Naija Afrobeats, Azonto, Decale, West African Dancehall, SA House, Kuduro, Afro House and much more! Every First and Third Fridays of Each Month.
Afrobeats Fridays are also hosting their own Afrobeats Summer Festival on Saturday June 12th at the Trinity Centre, Bristol. The festival will showcase the Best of African Culture through Music, BBQ, Food, Dancers, Bouncy Castle, Face painting & Henna Tattoo, African Fashion Exhibition, Cultural Showcase, Art and Craft workshop and games. AfroFest promises a unique event for all ages allowing you to experience the African culture.
Across two main stages there will be a live performance from International Afrobeats Artists… There will also be top DJ’s from around Bristol and London playing the best of Afrobeats, Dancehall, Soca, RnB, Soul, SA House, Kuduro, Coupe Decale, Kizomba and more. Live music will feature Jazz, Fela Style Afrobeat, Congolese Band Style, Reggae Live Band and more
