Film fans looking forward to some quality cinema in Bristol later this month will no doubt be savouring the Encounters 2017 video trailer.

Running from September 19th-24th with a packed programme of more than 400 films and 60 events, this well-established Bristol festival never disappoints with its diversity of genres and range of content.

This year there will be short films displaying the best of British talent, a personal appearance by Pierre Coffin – the man who gave life and voices to the Minions from the ‘Despicable Me’ films and some exciting VR events.
