Bristol Open Doors is a citywide festival celebrating the architecture, culture and history of Bristol. For one weekend, we give you the keys to the city, opening the doors to some of Bristol’s best building. From heritage spaces and forgotten places to innovative design and engineering feats, over 100 venues across the city open for free. Each year, on the second weekend of September, the festival welcomes over 30,000 visitors.
Bristol Open Doors is produced by the Architecture Centre, with the support of a fantastic network of partners across the city. The Architecture Centre is Bristol’s centre for design and creative placemaking. Founded in 1996 and based on Bristol’s Harbourside, the charity’s mission is to encourage an understanding and enjoyment of architecture, and to champion better buildings and places for everyone.
After a successful 2018 event, the festival will return 13th-15th Sept 2019.
