Big Green Week is a week-long festival inspiring people to make the sorts of changes which can have a positive effect on our future.
Businesses, organisations and individuals in Bristol are encouraged to take on challenges, such as going vegan for the week, swapping the car or bus for cycling or walking, reducing the amount of energy they consume (or switching to a more sustainable energy provider) and spending money on local independent establishments or shops.
The festival is also a call to get out and enjoy the many green spaces and nature hotspots in the city, and to celebrate those who are blazing a trail for everyone else to follow.
Big Green Week 2018 was the 8th time the event has run. People were encouraged to think about their impact on the environment and offered an opportunity to learn knowledge and skills to help change habits.
