For more than 30 years this event has convened and celebrated the world’s best nature storytellers and Wildscreen is now the planet’s leading international nature film festival. As well as screening superb wildlife films and documentaries, the festival programme includes masterclasses, workshops and keynote speakers, giving audiences access to some of the sector’s most influential and innovative leaders.
It’s a great place for amateurs to break into the industry and with Bristol being a real hub of wildlife film-making thanks to the presence of the BBC on Whiteladies Road, the event attracts an ever-growing community of filmmakers, photographers, broadcasters, technologists and conservation organisations.
This year the very best from the world of wildlife and environmental photography will be on display, with 14th October dedicated to the people who tell nature’s stories through photography.
On Thursday October 13th environmentalist and broadcaster Sir David Attenborough will appear live in conversation with the BBC’s Chris Packham to talk about the changing face of conversation.
