The Thai & Multicultural Food Festival has always celebrated the ‘Land of Smiles’ at its annual event but this year it is involving other cultures, more than ever before.
Visitors to Bristol’s Millennium Square this year can expect to sample Brazilian and Filipino culture as well, including traditional food and dances, along with fun for all the family.
Organisers are promising a wealth of education, culture and entertainment to the city, as they have since 2012. The event has always given people an experience of Thailand and its heritage.
As well as being a great day out, featuring children’s entertainment, and an international costume parade, there is the chance to pick up authentic herbs and spices to add to your cooking at home.
Visitors will also be able to observe a Buddhist ceremony, Thai boxing demonstrations and also a Miss Thailand and Miss International UK pageant.
