St Paul’s Carnival is an iconic Bristol event that represents the best of African Caribbean culture, as well as the diversity, creativity and vibrancy of Bristol city!
Around 100,000 people come to the St. Paul’s area once a year to enjoy the many sounds and sights of the day. The carnival hosts 20 different sound systems and stages showcasing music genres from dancehall, reggae and soca to dub, calypso and drum and bass. You will find many street food stalls dotted around the carnival providing authentic Caribbean fayre including jerk chicken, curry goat, rice and peas, plantain and sugar cane.
