Let’s Rock Bristol, the weekend festival that brings top-quality music nostalgia to Ashton Court, will return with a new twist in 2017.
The festival is planned for the weekend of June 2nd-4th and as well as the usual 1980s bands will also have something of a 1990s feel.
Madchester giants The Happy Mondays provide the big news. They are on the bill on Sunday.
Fellow 1990s bands Stereo MC’s, Cast, Atomic Kitten, The Lightning Seeds, Toploader, EMF and B*witched will join the Happy Mondays.
T’Pau, Howard Jones, Gloria Gaynor, Heaven 17, Kim Wilde, Captain Sensible and Black Lace, among others, will supply the 1980s nostalgia.
The Village People, Flock of Seagulls, Tiffany and Technotronic will also be on the 1980s side of the lineup at Let’s Rock Bristol 2017.
On the Friday night Midge Ure and Modern Romance will play a special opening night gig for weekend ticket holders and campers only.
