Now approaching the ten-year anniversary of its first event, Crimefest 2017 will take place at Bristol’s Royal Marriott Hotel in May.
The festival caters to a wide range of literary fans, from people who like to read an occasional crime novel to those who consider themselves die-hard fans of the genre.
Crimefest has evolved into not only one of the biggest crime fiction events in Europe but also one of the most popular gatherings in the international crime fiction calendar.
Now established as an annual event, it was featured as one of ‘tbe best crime writing festivals around the world’ in The Guardian and in the Independent’s ’50 Best Festivals.
It draws top crime novelists, readers, editors, publishers and reviewers from around the world and gives delegates the opportunity to celebrate this popular genre in a friendly, informal and welcoming atmosphere.
The 2017 festival will include a gala dinner, interviews with guest authors and presentations of the eDunnit, Last Laugh and Sounds of Crime Awards.
