The Clifton Festival of Music brings a hugely varied programme of classical music to Bristol every year.
Artists from different musical disciplines come together for a range of concerts, generating some exciting possibilities.
The festival features the brightest musical talent from the South West plus some of the biggest names in classical music.
For a reminder of how good last year’s festival was you can watch the video below about 2016’s acts which entertained audiences last summer.
Last year one of the highlights was a free concert by the award-winning Erebus Ensemble, who started in Bristol and went on to nationwide fame.
It was their only appearance in the city last year and was a memorable event for everyone lucky enough to attend.
2016 was a huge milestone for Shakespeare fans, and acclaimed musicians Guy Cutting and Hannah Ely made sure the Clifton Festival of Music honoured it.
They presented work celebrating the Bard and also the great poet Thomas Hardy.
Keep an eye on the festival’s website for more information about the 2017 programme.
