The dates have been released for the Bristol Harbour Festival 2018, so fans of the annual celebration of all things to do with the city’s nautical history – along with amazing live music, circus skills, the arts, dance and food and drink – should put 20th-22nd July in their diary.
As usual, The Harbourside will become a living showcase of Bristol’s talent and skills, with three miles of activities stretching from the famous Underfall Yard on Cumberland Road to the city centre and Castle Park.
More than 200,000 people attend the festival each year to enjoy the huge amount of free entertainment on offer, which includes eye-catching displays on the water, live music, circus performances, a huge food market plus a dance stage and theatre shows.
One of the largest free festivals in the UK, The Bristol Harbour Festival 2018 will centre around the historic Floating Harbour which will once again be filled with craft of all shapes and sizes.
First launched in 1971, the festival has always been, and remains, a free event and Bristol’s flagship cultural festival, bringing tens of thousands of people into the city from the surrounding counties and beyond.
