Bristol Circus City 2017 will return in October after its usual year off. A feast of circus skills, the event will be taking place at locations across the city.
Mixing circus shows, which are always popular in the city, with dance, theatre and comedy for all the family, it will feature home-grown talent mixed in with award-winning European shows, and the programme will contain a number of UK and world premieres.
The festival, which happens every two years, will take place at around 15 venues across Bristol including Circomedia, Bristol Old Vic and the Tobacco Factory Theatre.
There will be something to entertain ticket holders of all ages and as well as shows there will be talks, workshops and films.
From the hilarious Cliff Jumping for Beginners (Wardrobe Theatre), the musical escapade of Swing Circus at the Trinity Centre to the amazing acrobatics of Tipping Point at 1532 Theatre, there is a huge array of shows.
On October 28th, at the LOCO Club under Temple Meads, Bristol favourites the Invisible Circus will create a spooky spectacle to mark Halloween and to bring Circus City 2017 to an end.
